Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of biowave.fun and your BioWave crew account. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password safe. You must be at least 13 years old to use BioWave, and you should only share content that is yours to share.

Your sightings and content

You own the photos, sightings and notes you share. By posting them, you give us permission to host and display them on BioWave, and to feature them (with credit) in Tide Notes. Please only share wildlife photos taken without disturbing the animals.

What's not allowed

• Illegal content, pirated material, or links to it.
• Harassment, hate speech, or content that endangers others.
• Malware, phishing links, or attempts to scrape or disrupt the service.
• Impersonating another person or organisation.
• Posting fake sightings, or encouraging people to touch, feed or chase wildlife.

We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Paid plans

Paid plans renew automatically on the billing cycle you choose until you cancel. You can downgrade or cancel at any time from your account settings; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period.

Uptime and changes

We aim to keep BioWave running reliably but don't guarantee it will be available without interruption. We may update these terms or the service over time — significant changes will be posted here.

Ending your account

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Liability

BioWave is provided as-is. We're not liable for losses arising from content you post, trips you plan using our guides, or downtime beyond our control. Always dive within your training and follow local guides.
